Pattani Basin (central Gulf of Thailand). 2^nd (upward) of the 5 sequences.

Lithology and Thickness

Variegated dark-brown to reddish-brown claystones and grey to pale sandstones. The sandstones are fine- to coarse-grained and subrounded to sub- angular. In the upper part of the sequence, coal layers are occasionally present.

Regional extent
